Student Response System - Student Clickers, Lecturer Remotes and Lecturer Base Units

In 2009 several courses at The University of Auckland are going to be trialling the use of a Student Response System (SRS) in class.
An SRS is a wireless response system that allows Lecturers to request information. Students respond by using a "clicker" (hand-held response pad) to send information to a receiver. When presented with a question, the student presses a button on their clicker, which sends an infrared signal to a receiver attached to a computer. The computer records and/or displays the student responses.
