The Web DropOff Box enables you to easily share executables and/or large files which would be difficult to transfer via email with people inside and outside the University of Auckland. This service uses a secure protocol to transfer files, and all files uploaded are checked for viruses.

To access the Web DropOff Box, go to https://webdropoff.auckland.ac.nz/.

You need to login with your NetID and password. The system will then automatically retrieve your name and email address. You enter the recipient’s email address, upload the file and notify the recipient. You are able to modify the email subject line and add a message before sending. The recipient will receive an email with the URL location of the file.
