Microsoft Office Online Training

Microsoft Office online training utilises the "Microsoft e-learning library" (MELL). MELL is a series e-learning lessons in Microsoft software. MELL gives access to software training that caters to all skill levels and learning styles.

MELL provides core training for Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook 2007 for all current University of Auckland Staff and Students.

MELL only works with Internet Explorer

How to use MELL

  1. Go to https://mselearning.auckland.ac.nz/

  2. If you see the following login box enter in your NetID proceeded with ec\ and your password, as in the example below. Not all users will see this login box or be required to login this way.

  3. Click on the core training course you would like to do

  4. Click on the sub training course you would like to do

    Click on the sub training course you would like to do

  5. Do not login as a guest and do not enrol in any of the courses
